Copper + Straw is an independent specialty coffee company founded in 2018. The company was born out of a passion for high-quality coffee, great hospitality, and the idea that a coffee shop should be more than just a place to grab a drink—it should be a space that brings people together and becomes part of the fabric of the local community. Our reputation in the Irish coffee industry is built on a focus on specialty-grade coffee sourced from renowned roasters, complemented by an extensive food menu featuring artisanal pastries, baked goods, gourmet toasted sandwiches, and sausage rolls. This commitment to excellence was recognised when Copper + Straw was shortlisted among the Top 10 Best Cafés in Dublin in the Irish Restaurant Awards 2023.

Coffee takes centre stage at Copper + Straw. We talk about coffee the way sommeliers talk about wine; paying close attention to things like taste, aroma, balance, mouthfeel and acidity. We work with the best roasters in the game to bring you speciality-grade, single-origin coffees from some of the best farms around the world. A big part of what we do is showcasing different coffees from a variety of roasters, and we always have a range of different origins and processes that customers can choose from.
