At Copper + Straw, we're all about great coffee. Bailies Coffee Roasters in Belfast are our house roaster, but we like to mix things up with a different guest roaster every month. We always have three different beans on espresso: one paired with milk, one served black, and a high-scoring coffee from our guest roaster. For filter coffee lovers, we’ll always have something special from our guest roaster. Our skilled baristas, state-of-the-art equipment, and robust quality assurance procedures mean every cup is top-notch.

Coffee is at the heart of everything we do. Over the years, we’ve worked with more than 50 roasters from around the world, carefully selecting coffees that meet our high standards. We put a lot of effort into sourcing, taking the time to identify top-quality roasters, sample a wide range of coffees, and choose only those that stand out in terms of flavour, balance, and clarity. We only use speciality-grade, single-origin coffees in the shop and aim to offer a broad and high-quality selection. Customers can choose from a range of origins, processing methods, and roast profiles, as well as different varieties, each contributing distinct characteristics to the final cup.

Food is an essential part of what we do. Our menu is chef-led, built around high-quality ingredients and simple, well-executed dishes. We focus on fresh, seasonal produce, with flavours that complement our coffee. Our selection includes gourmet sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods, all made in our off-site kitchen. The menu is constantly changing, reflecting both the best ingredients available and our chef’s approach to creating straightforward, flavour-driven food.
